Wow..WTF is this now?

Upon some perusing over at Trailer Addict, I stumbled on a really weird trailer for an Italian horror joint called MORITURIS. The flick comes from first-time director Raffaele Picchio and fellow writers Tiziano Martella and Gianluigi Perrone. Not sure words, including the synopsis below, can aptly describe the images seen in the trailer. I seriously suggest you nab a peek!

Rome, in 73 B.C. Spartacus led the rebellion of 200 gladiators which saw them opposed to the inhumanity that Rome had forced them into. During the riot they resisted for a long time against Roman soldiers. Few against a whole army. Some of them went crazy and started murders, rapes and violence. Spartacus punished them with death. But in those lands, when blood gets shed, they come back.

Valentina D’Andrea, Andrea De Bruyn, Desiree Giorgetti, Francesco Malcolm, Giussippe Nitti and Simone Ripante all star in the film.

MORITURIS played (or is playing) at Fantasia Fest in Canada this year. Perhaps we’ll hear from our man C.Bum on the matter.
