Eli Roth's Goretorium prepares to slaughter Las Vegas come fall

Watch out, Sin City, here comes a tourist attraction to die for! As if he didn't already have enough on his plate as producer/director/actor, Eli Roth will be bringing his own haunted house to Las Vegas.

Eli Roth's Goretorium is scheduled to open on September 27. When asked by Deadline, here's what the man himself had to say:

"Horror fans know that with my name on it, it won’t be for little kids. They know it will be a very scary experience."

Really? Personally, I never found any of Mr. Roth's movies scary. Cruel, gory and at times humorous - now that's a different story. Still, a haunted house attraction based on the likes of CABIN FEVER and HOSTEL sounds like a hoot to me, especially in the Halloween season.

Located at the corner of Strip and Harmon in Vegas, The Goretorium will be open 24/7, all year round, will contain several stories worth of bloody attractions and - according to its founder - will aspire to become "the world mecca for horror fans".

HOSTEL II's Lauren German

Extra Tidbit: Can you think of any other horror director that you'd like to follow in Roth's footsteps? Rob Zombie's Backyard of Blood? Romero Mall?
