BLADE RUNNER 2 apparently isn't finished filming yet, not that they've told us anything about how production is going. But here's some solid evidence: Two more actors have joined the cast. These new additions are David Dastmalchian and Hiam Abbass, who play (surprise, surprise) unspecified roles.

Dastmalchian is best known for playing one of the Joker's thugs in the massively popular THE DARK KNIGHT, but he recently appeared in another comic adaptation: ANT-MAN, where he played Kurt, the Russian member of Scott Lang's team.

Abbass is an Israeli actress who recently appeared in Ridley Scott's EXODUS: GODS AND KINGS, which is probably how she got her foot in the door of the BLADE RUNNER universe, but she is also known for MUNICH and THE VISITOR.

BLADE RUNNER 2 also stars Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Dave Bautista, Barkhad Abdi, and Harrison Ford, returning in his original role as Rick Deckard. The screenplay was penned by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green, from a story by Ridley Scott and Fancher. The film is produced by Alcon Entertainment.

The film will run into theaters on October 6, 2017.
