Happy Monday folks, another weekend has been and gone. So what did audiences seek out? They had another hankering for a pussy!
Yes PUSS IN BOOTS almost made the exact same number as last week, winning the Box Office for the second weekend in a row. The new entries were comedies TOWER HEIST and A VERY HAROLD AND KUMAR CHRISTMAS 3D, they took 2nd and 3rd spots respectively. So where did that leave the little horror number?
PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3 remained in the Top 5, taking in a decent amount. However its opening weekend drew in the big numbers, it took a drop but has remained steady with what it got last week. IN TIME also remained in the Top 5, but I don’t think those numbers are what the powers that be expected. Still I expected it to drop lower, so not bad.
Next weekend sees the releases of a number of films we’ve been watching here at AITH including 11-11-11 (limited), MELANCHOLIA (limited) and the big release IMMORTALS. We shall see which films get numbers and how well the limited releases do.
