We’ve got our first look at original Platinum Dunes production THE HORSEMEN courtesy of the Italian site, BadTaste.it. Naturally, it’s dubbed in Italian (anybody wanna translate?), but you’ll still get the general idea that Dennis Quaid is a detective investigating creepy murders that might portend the coming of the Apocalypse. Looks like standard fare; the weirdest part of the trailer has to be when it claims Michael Bay produced INDEPENDENCE DAY. Click right HERE to check it out.
Here’s the synopsis provided by IMDB: Aidan Breslin is a bitter detective emotionally distanced from his two young sons following the untimely death of his devoted wife. While investigating a series of murders of rare violence, he discovers a terrifying link between himself and the suspects in a chain of murders that seem to be based on the Biblical prophecies concerning the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death.
Ziyi Zhang (playing a villain?), Clifton Collins Jr., Lou Taylor Pucci, Patrick Fugit and Peter Stormare co-star in the Jonas Akerlund flick (he’s directed about 800 music videos). It’s set to be released on MARCH 13th.
