I vaguely remember when the whole reality TV thing started. Can you believe it’s become the phenomenon that it has? And if you’re anything like me… it kind of makes you sick inside. Like maybe you throw up a little bit inside your mouth when you hear anything about AMERICAN IDOL or DANCING WITH THE STARS?

Well let’s hope we get that taste out of our mouth with this upcoming reality series from E! The Hollywood Reporter dropped word today that E! will be putting their own spin on reality paranormal investigation shows with HOT GIRLS IN SCARY PLACES. … Well I’m sold!

Seriously though? Here’s the description we get: Three University of Southern California cheer squad friends are challenged to spend the night in a supposedly haunted abandoned hospital and compete for a $10,000 cash prize. So cheerleaders running around a haunted house all night scared out of their mind? Why do I suspect we’ll be in for some horrible acting in skirts?

Producer Gary Auerbach had the following to say on the project: “They’re totally scared and totally believe experiences they’re going through.”

Like totally! Let’s just say even with the ‘hot girls’ I don’t think this one will match up to GHOST HUNTERS, but maybe it’s worth a shot. If you want to give Go Go Lucky’s HOT GIRLS IN SCARY PLACES a chance, tune in to E! on Friday, March 13. Ohh Friday the 13th. Spooky.
