Hottie Tanit Phoenix joining Luke Goss in Death Race prequel?

Back at the beginning of January Ammon hit you all with the news that Luke Goss would be toplining the directi-to-DVD DEATH RACE prequel DEATH RACE: FRANKENSTEIN LIVES. but a DEATH RACE prequel? Come on… Really? Well there might actually be a reason to check this thing out now!

Maybe I’m pushing it… but according to GeekWeek the gorgeous Tanit Phoenix is currently in talks to star alongside Goss in the film! As you can see from the pictures in this article… Phoenix is pretty hot. I’m talking really hot. Smoking even? Oh yes. But reason enough to check out a DEATH RACE prequel? Not sure any hottie would be worth that…

FRANKENSEIN LIVES centers on Carl ‘Luke’ Lucas, the right-hand man for a notorious mobster, who is busted for killing a cop in the process of robbing a bank. Once behind the bars of Terminal Island, the confident newcomer is roped into entering the ‘big race’ by it’s green-eyed producer, and becomes the fast-driving Frankenstien before Jason Statham’s character takes over in the prequel. Roel Renie is directing.

GeekWeek also let loose that Phoenix is after the role of Elizabeth Jane Case, a card girl for the fight matches, later a navigator when the prisoners are forced to test their driving skills, who develops a ‘close’ bond with Lucas. She’s in prison for accidentally killing her cop husband. Man she is gorgeous… While Phoenix doesn’t have many credits to her name she’s probably best known, if at all, for starring alongside Nicolas Cage and Jared Leto in LORD OF WAR.
