When I was 14, I was really into wrestling. I cannot recall how exactly I got into it, but I was in love with it. And I was in love with The Rock. There, I said it. I had posters of him on the walls of my room. The crush may have faded, but I still have a special place in my heart for him. He’s a likable guy who posts photos of himself on Facebook pumping iron. It amuses me.
What’s the verdict when it comes to his next up, SNITCH? Dwayne Johnson is action. I think most of us can confidently go into one of his action films and be satisfied. The guy is pure entertainment, which goes all the back to his days in wrestling. Did you see his recent return to RAW with that whole solo acoustic thing?

Synopsis: Action superstar Dwayne Johnson headlines this fast-paced thriller as a father whose teenage son is wrongly accused of a crime and is sentenced to 10 years in jail. In order to clear his son’s name, he dangerously goes undercover and risks everything, including his own life, to reduce his son’s sentence. The ensemble cast includes Academy Awards Winner Susan Sarandon, Emmy Nominee Benjamin Bratt, and Golden Globe Nominee Barry Pepper. Inspired by a true story, the screenplay was written by Justin Haythe (THE LONE RANGER, REVOLUTIONARY ROAD, THE CLEARING) and adapted by the film’s director Ric Roman Waugh.
