Case in point is the indie flick I CAN SEE YOU, from writer/director Graham Reznick (the sound designer for THE ROOST, TRIGGER MAN, and AUTOMATONS). It’s Reznick’s debut film, and it goes a little something like this: Three advertising guys go to a remote company retreat to plan a new campaign for a cleaning product called ClarActix. They’re soon distracted by a temptress named Summer and confronted by long-lost ClarActix pitchman Mickey Hauser,, and surreal, psychedelic terror ensues.
I know this movie isn’t f*cking around when it comes to the psychedelic because the poster alone is tripping me out. Whoa, dude, I don’t know even know what’s going on here!!! My mind is totally turning inside out just looking at this guy…!
