Elba has left the building.
Wasn’t that intro perfect? I mean it just came to me. Anyway, during a Twitter Q&A actor Idris Elba revealed he has not only completed work on THE DARK TOWER, but that director Nikolaj Arcel said edits are going smoothly.:

We should take this as a sigh of relief that the actual production (and from the sound of it, the post production) for this movie is going smoother than the pre-production, which by all accounts was a total nightmare. Now, we are that much closer to a final product, which means we could be getting a trailer quite soon, especially when you consider the film's release date is only about six months away.
THE DARK TOWER is set for release on February 17, 2017 starring Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey, Jackie Earle Haley and Claudia Kim.
