IFC Films set to drop acclaimed Spanish thriller Kidnapped onto DVD this November

So what’s the deal with Miguel Angel Vivas’ KIDNAPPED? Apparently this thing kicks all kinds of ass and I’m yet to see it! The Arrow dug the hell out of it and I’m sure a lot of you did as well. Unfortunately for us a limited theatrical release and a video-on-demand drop has come and gone. Don’t worry if you missed those though, we’ve got a DVD release for this b*tch right around the corner!

IFC Films have decided that now would be the perfect time to announce that the Spanish thriller will be dropping onto DVD here in the US starting November 29th! Mark it on your calenders folks! One major drag is that it’s not specified if KIDNAPPED will be dropping onto Blu-Ray as well, or what specs the DVD will have, but hopefully that news spills our way sooner rather than later.

Jaime, Marta and their daughter Isa have just moved into a luxurious new house. Marta begins to prepare the dinner and puts a bottle of champagne on ice to celebrate the move. As night falls, three hooded men violently force their way into the house. Panic ensues and soon the real violence will begin.

KIDNAPPED sports an international cast that includes Fernando Cayo, Guillermo Barrientos, Dritan Biba, Martijn Kuiper, Ana Wagener and Manuela Velles (below). No where else to really go with this one. November 29th – mark it down folks!
