IFC Films has just acquired two horror films for U.S. distribution one of which you’ve certainly heard about; the other has been pretty under the radar until now.
The first is everyone’s favorite Nazi-Zombie movie DEAD SNOW, which had a successful screening at Sundance just a few days ago. The other is THE OBJECTIVE, from BLAIR WITCH PROJECT co-director Dan Myrick. I’ve actually seen the flick, and will toss a review your way closer to its release date of FEBRUARY 4th. Here’s the synopsis:
The action takes place in a remote mountain region of Afghanistan, where a team of US Special Ops forces is dispatched with the ostensible orders of locating an influential Muslim cleric. While on the mission they find themselves lost in a Middle Eastern ‘Bermuda Triangle’ of ancient evil and faced with an enemy that none of them could ever have imagined.
Unfortunately, DEAD SNOW has no set release date yet, but expect that to change in the near future. For now, chow down on the teaser below!
