Image Entertainment signed a long-term agreement with Lakeshore Entertainment to distribute their catalog in North America. This includes DVD, Blu-ray, VOD and digital rights. Image CEO Ted Green said, “The Lakeshore Entertainment library is a wonderful addition to our already extensive catalog.”
I bet you want to know what genre flicks are included in this deal, huh? Well, among the titles are Clive Barker’s HELLRAISER, Fritz Kiersch’s CHILDREN OF THE CORN, Michael Gornick’s CREEPSHOW 2 and Bill Froehlich’s RETURN TO HORROR HIGH.
While the former two already have Blu-ray releases (including a recent double feature), the latter two have yet to see high definition transfers. Hopefully that will change with this deal. Nothing is official, but if anything is announced you will be the first to know – as always.
