Grab your fedora, your trusty bullwhip, and get ready for an adventure because Lucasfilm Games announced today that a new Indiana Jones game is in the works. Developed by the award-winning studio, MachineGames, and executive produced by game industry icon Todd Howard of Bethesda Games Studios, the game will tell a wholly original, standalone tale set at the height of the career of the famed adventurer.
While details about the game have been more difficult to find than some of Indy's most iconic relics, a teaser for the upcoming interactive experience was posted to Bethesda's official Twitter account on Tuesday:

While searching for more clues about the game's story, I've discovered that IGN's Jordan Oloman was able to glean a thing or two from the teaser posted above. According to Oloman, the game could take place around Vatican City, seeing as there's a plane ticket to Rome dated October 1937. He also notes that the promo includes footage of a map for the Sistine Chapel. Take from that what you will, but I'm sure it's not there simply for show.
Seeing as Bethesda will soon be owned by Microsoft, there's a chance that the game could be an Xbox exclusive (timed or otherwise). I'd also put money on the game launching on Game Pass, Microsoft's Netflix-like service that allows players access to a rotating list of titles for an impressively low price.
