We know, we know, we’ve been here many times before but several of you have emailed us about the Associated Press reporting that George Lucas has announced that filming for INDIANA JONES IV will start next year for a May 2008 release. To which we have to say whaaaaaa??? Lucas actually approved a script? Spielberg actually committed to directing this flick next year despite the eight thousand projects he has on his directorial plate? Maybe this is just Lucas being optimistic about the whole thing. Maybe he’s just tired of the incessant questions about INDY 4 so he just blurted out “yes, we’re filming next year!” as a way to shut everybody up. Or maybe Lucas wasn’t just yanking our chains. Maybe the ball really is officially rolling. What do you guys think? You think this is really gonna happen next year?
