Earlier this morning, the trailer for Danny Boyle’s Ink dropped online just as the movie was about to make its premiere at the Venice Film Festival. Ink has just screened for an audience and those in attendance are heading to social media for their reactions.

Jack O’Connell has been around since Skins from 20 years ago, but his star is burning white hot after his villainous turn in Ryan Coogler’s Sinners. The actor would also recently be seen as another horror villain in 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. Now, O’Connell takes a break from the supernatural and stars in a straight drama for Danny Boyle’s Ink. The film takes a look at the plane of news reporting as it changed forever with Newscorp founder, Rupert Murdoch’s The Sun finding success in sensationalistic stories.
