Intervention poster

About a month ago we told you about a little horror film called THE INTERVENTION. It looked promising and we’ve been keeping on eye on its progress… and today we’re being rewarded for our efforts.

The brand spankin’ new poster for THE INTERVENTION popped online today and I gotta admit–this flick is lookin’ pretty sweet! I’m digging the ghost / zombie-like figures in the background, as well as the ghost / zombie-like figures reaching up from the depths of the bottle. That’s another thing–the dude drowning in the bottle of booze–what a great image for a flick called THE INTERVENTION!

But this is more than just a story about stopping an alcoholic in his tracks, right? Check it: On September 17th 2002, eight people gathered in an isolated house just North of Los Angeles, to intervene in the destructive path of alcoholic husband, friend, and brother, Matt Garret. The horrific, paranormal events that transpired on that autumn night, could only lead to one implausible conclusion – demonic possession. THE INTERVENTION is a psychological/horror film that will challenge one’s faith in the true powers of good and evil. The mind has many doors and what you see may not be fact.

Ok, so it IS about stopping an alcoholic in his tracks–one that just happens to be possessed by demons. I’m sure there’s some underlying metaphors at works here, but I prefer to take something like this at face value and just enjoy it for what it is: a horror movie.

Check out a larger version of the kick-ass poster HERE and stick around for more on THE INTERVENTION as it comes our way.
