Love it or hate it, Paul W.S. Anderson has remained faithful to his interpretation of RESIDENT EVIL and he continues to do so in the latest installment, RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION. The newest chapter feels more like the video game than the previous installments for many reasons, this is especially true as to how the “players” in the new film must conquer certain levels to free themselves from this zombie and monster infested world.
When I sat down with Mr. Anderson, we talked about how it is a passion project for him, one which continues to excite him five movies in. He also spoke about bringing Michelle Rodriguez back into this popular series and how much he really enjoys the technology of shooting in 3D. RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION blasts its way into theatres this coming Friday at a theatre near you.
