INT: Nicolas Cage

JoBloJoBlo

One of my all time favorite performances by Nicolas Cage, has been and always will be, LEAVING LAS VEGAS. Blessed with a long list of career credits, I could go on all day naming every successful and memorable movie he’s starred in. I’m particularly fond of his earlier work in RUMBLE FISH, VALLEY GIRL and PEGGY SUE GOT MARRIED. Still proving he’s got the goods, Cage takes the center stage in Alex Proyas upcoming sci-fi adventure, THE KNOWING, opening Friday March 20th.

Cage portrays a distraught father, who’s desperate to protect his son from the alarming discovery he makes off of a sheet of numbers, that his boy has been given from a time capsule at school. His execution is both honest and disturbing. He has a naturally quirky personality, which I find often puzzling, yet absolutely adorable. I had a chance to sit down with the sharp looking actor to chat about his forthcoming action-thriller, his personal take on the nature of the script, and working with Proyas. Check out what the monotone actor had to say.
