I’m not afraid to admit that I am a massive fan of Jason Statham. As an action star he carries certain legitimacy when he destroys his enemies and he seems to have fun doing it. In his latest film PARKER – directed by the acclaimed director Taylor Hackford – he continues this trend fighting off some bad guys including Michael Chiklis, Clifton Collins Jr., Wendell Pierce and Micah A. Hauptman. He even spends a little quality time with Jennifer Lopez.

It is always a pleasure to chat with Statham. He is friendly and one of the most downright, straightforward guys I know. We talked about working with Mr. Hackford and if he had been familiar with the character of PARKER. There are several books written about this character by the author Donald E. Westlake (aka Richard Stark) and some pretty impressive actors who have played characters based on the fictional badass. Are you ready to see Jason Statham kick some ass? If so, check out PARKER this coming Friday in a theatre near you.
