When was the last time we heard anything about THE VANGUARD? Well it’s actually been a year since Eric dropped word on it. (here and here.) A year later and we’ve got some updates for the flick.
Before I get to that though, let me refresh your memory on what exactly THE VANGUARD is. It centers on a badass named Max. Max has to fend off a world of ‘savages’ called Biosyns (aka zombies) as well as a group of elite soldiers out to kill him. Eventually he heads south with one of the soldiers and meets up with another couple, all looking to finally find a livable society.

THE VANGUARD is a UK zombie flick from writer/director Matthew Hope. It’s got some pretty solid characters, decent gore, and groovy effects. No word on a release date. In the meantime check out the pretty cool trailer below or over in our AITH Video Section.
