JURASSIC PARK has gotta be borderline AITH fare, especially since each entry has progressively grown weaker and more watered down. Hopefully the 4th installment, to be directed by Joe Johnston, will hark back to the original and give us something a bit more harrowing than what he did in part 3.
And that, my friends, may be exactly what Johnston and company are doing as we speak (or as I type). You see, per a snap taken at Universal’s back-lot, JURASSIC PARK 4 is currently on the studio’s production slate. What the hell gives, right?!?
While it’s been almost a full year since having a serious JP4 update, it seems the film is really starting to come to fruition. I doubt any actual footage is being shot on the lot right now, as we don’t even have casting and script details at this point. No, it’s more likely some kind of camera test, screen test with actors, or some kind of preliminary technical chore the filmmakers wanna make sure they calibrate correctly before undergoing such an epic blockbuster. Or it’s a prank from a disgruntaled employee!
My favorite part of the story though, Universal’s response. Peep it, apparently they:
“have no idea why that is on there.”
Haha, nice!
Alright, so what do we make of this pic? A practical joke by a bored staffer or is Universal really shooting JURASSIC PARK 4 on the down low?
