Nu Boyana Films, the Bulgarian production company behind Simon West’s THE EXPENDABLES 2, has put out a missive regarding their shoot schedule on the action-sequel. On said missive…a mention of RAMBO 5.

“The film (EXPENDABLES 2) shoot is one of several foreign productions shot at NU Boyana recently, but marks a major accomplishment for the Bulgarian film services industry at large due to the high profiles of the film’s cast. The studio also lists Rambo V among its schedule of films to shoot there in 2011, and recently hosted the Nordisk Film production of Kon-Tiki.”
Speaking from experience, this reminds me of the time we saw the title JURASSIC PARK 4 on Universal’s production slate…only to find out that was all a massive misstatement. This is why I implore you to take this RAMBO 5 “news” with the grain of salt. Still, it would be pretty damn badass if it turned out to be true.
