On a slow ass news day, I thought I might be able to mine some dirt from a foreign trade. When I happened upon Aullidos, I discovered a fascinating tidbit regarding PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3. So fascinating I actually question how true it is…
According to the Spanish website, who notes the third P.A. film will be released in Spain the same day as in the U.S. (October 21st), they also claim the film is being directed by Paul Feig (BAD TEACHER), with Roger Avery (SILENT HILL, PULP FICTION) writing the screenplay. Now that’s a hell of an oddball combo!
Looking over the IMDB page for the flick, only star Katie Featherston (below) and character creators Oren Peli and Michael R. Perry are credited. Of course, if Avery is really writing the flick, it conflicts with a story we ran in January that had DISTURBIA scribe Christopher B. Landon co-writing with Perry. Very interesting indeed!
Again, I wouldn’t put too much stock in this story, as the website badly butchered Featherston’s name, calling her Katie Ferheston. That right there should raise some red flags.
