RABIES, Israel’s first slasher flick, had its North American premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival last month. It must have made a good impact, because distribution has already been secured. Image Entertainment will handle the U.S. release, while Mongrel Media picked up the Canadian rights.
What is particularly exciting about the deal is that includes a theatrical release, so hopefully we’ll have a chance to see it on the big screen. Would you check this one out on the big screen?
The movie is co-directed and co-written by Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado and produced by United Channels Movies for XYZ Films. It stars Lior Ashkenazi, Ania Bukstein, Danny Geva, Yael Grobglas, Ran Danker, Ofer Shecter, who are all known Israeli actors.
