Another monster-related comedy is headed our way, this one courtesy of Ivan Reitman’s The Montecito Picture Co. (I LOVE YOU, MAN, NO STRINGS ATTACHED). Penned by Jeff Lowell (HOTEL FOR DOGS!!!), the project is titled MONSTERS OF THE MIDWAY; it is described as an action comedy with supernatural overtones set in a carnival.
Montecito’s Ivan Reitman, Tom Pollock, and Joe Medjuck are producing with Daniel Rappaport and Ben Forkner of Film 360. No director has been hired as of yet.
Say, shouldn’t Reitman be focusing on some other supernatural-themed comedy? Actually, I guess it depends on who you ask…
