We may have just found a reason to be excited at the prospect of a remake of THE CROW. By now almost every actor with a dark look about them as been attached or rumored to be attached for the lead role, leaving no one to be optimistic that this movie is going to happen any time soon. That is unless the right face comes along, enter Jack Huston!

Deadline reports that Huston is being eyed to lead the movie which recently added music video director Corin Hardy to helm. Relativity Studios is now looking to finally getting this thing moving and in front of cameras as early as this spring. You should recognize Huston from Boardwalk Empire, AMERICAN HUSTLE, and from the news that he will be playing the title role in the new BEN-HUR movie. Taking on the James O’Barr graphic novel adaptation looks like a perfect fit for the rising star.

Talks with Huston are in the very early stages so we can only hope that it ultimately comes together. He’s a great actor and from his less than extensive body of work he has already proven himself to be more than capable of taking on this vengeful character.

How do you feel about this possible casting choice?
