Jacket Trailer/Posters

Let’s see – a military veteran who is losing his mind, or thinks he might be losing his mind, or might lose his mind from wondering if he’s losing his mind – with lots of weird people and creepy imagery swirling about. Name that flick? If you guessed JACOB’S LADDER, you’re right and wrong. Another project following that head trip mold is hitting theaters in ’05, and this time it serves up Adrien Brody as the confused protagonist. The official synopsis goes a little somthing like this:

“The Jacket” is a psychological thriller about a military veteran who returns to his native Vermont suffering from bouts of amnesia. When he is accused of murder and lands in an asylum, a well-meaning doctor puts him on a heavy course of experimental drugs, restrains him in a jacket-like device, and locks him away in a body drawer of the basement morgue. The process sends him on a journey into the future, where he can foresee his death (but not who did it or how) in four day’s time. Now the only question that matters is: can the woman he meets in the future save him?

You can check out the trailer here. It doesn’t really tell you much, outside of the fact that if you’re in an institution, you definitely don’t want Kris Kristofferson as your doc! And that Keira Knightly is cute no matter how much you try to grunge her up. Except for the poster below where she’s definitely achieved would kick her out of bed status. She kinda looks like Frida meets La Magra.
