Jackie Chan wants to see a script for Rush Hour 4

It’s been over two years since we last heard about the possibility of another RUSH HOUR and I can’t say I’ve been holding my breath. It’s been seven years since RUSH HOUR 3 and to be very honest, I’ve never heard anyone say they wanted another sequel. So now it’s out there again as Jackie Chan says the studio wants to make another sequel but they don’t have a script and until they do he’s not interested. So he would be interested if there was a script? Tough negotiating there Jackie.

While in London England promoting CHINESE ZODIAC, Jackie Chan was asked by TV host Jonathan Ross if RUSH HOUR 4 will ever happen:

"Lately they want to make Rush Hour 4. I said ‘No, show me the script first. I don’t need another Rush Hour 4. You need Rush Hour 4. Show me the script.’ I don’t want to do a rubbish script just because they want to make the movie."

I’m surprised and delighted to hear Jackie Chan actually cares about the creative process this time around. Although part of me thinks he couldn’t have read the script for RUSH HOUR 3 and thought it was worthy of his talent and time; so maybe he’s getting to be more picky later in his career? Now if only Nicholas Cage aged.

I think I know the overwhelming answer, but BAD BOYS 3 or RUSH HOUR 4?
