Last week I told you all how THE SPIRIT is looking at a Christmas release date instead of one next year. Well today we’ve got a look at the villan of the flick courtesy of Comic-Con magazine!
Obviously you can scope that out above. It’s the great Samuel L. Jackson as The Octopus.. and he’s got a big fluffy coat!
I’m down. How can someone not be down for anything involving Sam Jackson? I feel if I badmouth anything about THE SPIRIT, Sam Jackson will show up at my door bitching about some kind of reptile on a flying contraption… and we don’t want that… oh we don’t want that at all.
THE SPIRIT comes from Frank Miller and has a very SIN CITY-ish vibe to it…. nothing wrong with that. Especially since it also stars Eva Mendes, Scarlett Johansson (below) , Paz Vega, Jamie King, and Sarah Paulson.
It hits theaters December 25.We’ll keep you updated.
