Earlier this week I told you that Samuel L. Jackson was appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about the upcoming SNAKES ON A PLANE. Since I work, I had to TiVo the damn thing and finally had a chance to check it out last night- funny stuff!
Today
YouTube has his interview, along with some behind the scenes footage of the snakes they used on set, as well as a clip, showcasing one heroic speech he delivers to passengers.
The thing that’s great about Jackson, is that he knows how cheesy and classic this film’s gonna be, and doesn’t treat it like crap because it’s a ‘B’ movie- he knows what it is and loves it for it. That’s awesome!
One of my favourite moments of the interview had to deal with Jackson saying the line ‘Get these muthaf*ckin’ snakes off this muthaf*ckin’ plane’, which was requested by thousands on the internet, made it into the movie. Nice! Who says campaigning for dialog in movies doesn’t work! Another part that rocked was Jackson setting the record straight about snake trainers and snake handlers- you can’t train a snake to
do anything, it does what it wants. Yeah. Funny stuff.
