It's only been just over two months since we saw the first trailer for THE PACT director Nicholas McCarthy's new supernatural horror movie THE PRODIGY (formerly known as DESCENDANT), but with the film's theatrical release just one month away it's time for another preview of the horrors it has to offer.
Starring Taylor Schilling of Orange Is the New Black and Jackson Robert Scott of IT, THE PRODIGY is about
young mother who, concerned about her 8-year-old son's disturbing behavior, thinks something supernatural may be affecting him.
Scripted by THE MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN's Jeff Buhler, the film also stars Brittany Allen, Peter Mooney, and Colm Feore.
THE PRODIGY was produced by Tripp Vinson, with Buhler, Nick Spicer, Lisa Zambri, and Daniel Bekerman executive producing.
Judging by the new trailer, this does look to be an entertaining new entry in the "creepy kid" sub-genre. It might be worth a trip to the theatre when it's released on February 8th.
