Jake Gyllenhaal in talks to take the lead in Motor City

JoBloJoBlo

Jake GyllenhaalThe last update we had on the movie MOTOR CITY from director Albert Hughes (THE BOOK OF ELI) was that Gary Oldman would take the role of the villain.  Well, here we are a month later with a possible lead for the revenge flick – Jake Gyllenhaal is currently in talks to play the part of “an ex-Army Ranger named John Miller who is framed for a crime he didn’t commit. Now, he is going after the man who framed him and stole his true love.”  Said true love will be played be Amber Heard, so I think it’s understandable that he’s willing to fight tooth and nail for her.

MOTOR CITY will begin shooting in Berlin later this Spring.
