January Jones to be haunted by The Shuddering

It looks like the gorgeous "Mad Men" star, January Jones (pictured), will be taking her talents to the horror genre as she has signed on to star in THE SHUDDERING, a supernatural thriller to be directed by George Ratliff. With "Mad Men" entering its final season, it's nice to see Jones turning her attention towards the darker side of cinema. Hopefully this means we'll be seeing more of her in the future! Cargo Entertainment is handling international rights to the project and is introducing the project at Berlin’s European Film Market.

THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT 2: GHOSTS OF GEORGIA scribe, David Coggeshall, wrote the script for THE SHUDDERING which follows…

a woman (Jones) who returns to the town where she first began to experience strange visions. Determined to get to the bottom of it, she unravels a mystery that goes back farther than she could imagine.

Mary Jane Skalski, who has produced acclaimed indies such as The Station Agent and The Visitor, along with Damon Lane and John Santilli are producing with Lawrence Mattis of Circle of Confusion, the company behind AMC’s "The Walking Dead". Production is scheduled for summer 2014. Keep an eye out for more on this one as we get it!
