To get in the mood, Fox just released the Japanese trailer for AVP-R over at the Japanese site, and though I can’t read the subtitles, it doesn’t really matter… this trailer may be the tightest trailer yet!
Why’s it so cool? Because it starts out like any other American town drama or teen angst movie, showing us a few of the characters in their regular lives…and just about the time when mothers and daughters alike are looking forward to seeing this movie, it pulls a fast one on them and revelas what happens when the Aliens and Predators make their town their own personal battlefield! I love the ol’ trailer switcheroo!
