Japanese one-sheet & final motion-poster for Kevin Greutert’s Saw 3D

THE SAW 3D onslaught continues…

After scoping a pair of TV spots for Kevin Greutert’s try at the franchise yesterday, we not only have a pretty elaborate Japanese poster for the three-dimensional 7th installment, we have a rather spiffy motion-poster declaring the film The Final Chapter (we all know that faired for the Friday the 13th series, don’t we)…

Taking a page out of those CHATROOM posters we’ve seen recently, the first poster shows Jigsaw’s face in profile, the entirety of it comprised of tiny frames (no doubt his victims in agony) that create a whole. There also seems to be a goddamn novel etched in the margin!

The second poster, which you can over at Bloody-Disgusting, keeps with the gimmicky motion adverts we’ve seen from the SAW 3D camp in the past. Kinda hokey this one, although that gnarly claw-contraption looks pretty f*ckin’ core!

Splitting domes October 29th:

In SAW 3D, the seventh chapter, a deadly battle rages over Jigsaw’s brutal legacy. A group of Jigsaw survivors gathers to seek the support of self-help guru, and fellow survivor, Bobby Dagen. Soon though, the survivors really must help themselves as Dagen’s dark secrets unleash a new wave of terror… The SAW franchise; once more sets an industry record by being the first theatrical feature to be shot exclusively on the cutting-edge SI-3D digital camera system.

SAW 3D brings the horrifying games of Jigsaw to life like never before, psychologically testing the viewer as Jigsaw does his victims. By adding another sensory dimension to the already overwhelming experience of viewing any SAW film, SAW 3D truly pushes the boundaries.

Tobin Bell, Cary Elwes, Sean Patrick Flanery, Betsy Russell, Costas Mandylor, Gina Holden (below), Tanedra Howard, Chad Donella, Joris Jarsky, Dean Armstrong and James Van Patten all get down with the mayhem.
