Though you can currently view it via VOD, Brad Anderson’s new thriller VANISHING ON 7TH STREET will enjoy a limited theatrical run in the states starting this Friday (Feb. 18th). In addition, the film has been in Japanese theaters for about a week…and we’ve got the international one-sheet to prove it!
Radically different than the posters we’ve seen prior, the new look rocks a perpendicular split-screen – vertical up top, horizontal down low – which shows Hayden Christensen’s face, a plummeting airplane, and a massive traffic accident. Ah hell, just scroll that bastard already…
Also starring Thandie Newton (below), John Leguizamo, Taylor Groothuis, Jordan Trovillion and Jacob Latimore – VANISHING ON 7TH STREET occurs:
When a massive power outage plunges the city of Detroit into total darkness, a disparate group of individuals find themselves alone. The entire city’s population has vanished into thin air, leaving behind heaps of empty clothing, abandoned cars and lengthening shadows. Soon the daylight begins to disappear completely, and as the survivors gather in an abandoned tavern, they realize the darkness is out to get them, and only their rapidly diminishing light sources can keep them safe.
VANISHING ON 7TH STREET lights up screens February 18th.
