Apparently, the Japanese get a few more seconds of footage with their teasers (and sometimes less) as indicated here with this teaser for IRON MAN 3.  Like the STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS teaser, this Japanese version of the teaser for IRON MAN 3 has a few snippets of different footage, although it is decidly scant on the brunt of footage from the U.S. version.  Still, it’s a cool peek that doesn’t give away any major reveals.  Just a few new shots, different music, and a stronger focus on Stark and Pepper’s romance, strangely.

Check it out:

Interesting marketing direction.  Seems much more subtle and offers no peeks of the main villains of the film, aside from Ben Kingsley‘s voice over.  Stil, it’s hard to complain about seeing a new tease for a highly anticipated film like IRON MAN 3, so I’ll cool my jets.

IRON MAN 3, directed by Shane Black and starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Kingsley, Rebecca Hall, Guy Pearce, James Badge Dale, William Sadler, and Don Cheadle is set to debut on May 3, 2013.

Gwyneth…I have a crush, no doubt…
