Jason Momoa claims to have seen the elusive Snyder Cut of Justice League

Just when you thought the fire to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut was dying out, JUSTICE LEAGUE and AQUAMAN star Jason Momoa has gone ahead and dumped a tank of gasoline on the smuldering flames.

Not 24-hours ago, Jason Momoa posted a video to his personal Instagram account that shows the GAME OF THRONES alum gifting MAN OF STEEL and SUCKER PUNCH director Zack Snyder with a brand new Leica Q2 camera. The gift was meant to serve as just a small token of Momoa's appreciation, who credits Snyder as the filmmaker who in-part helped jump-start his now-booming career as a leading man. Perhaps what's even more interesting than Momoa playing Sexy Santa Claus, is the revelation that he says that a Snyder Cut of JUSTICE LEAGUE does, indeed, exist. What's more is that Momoa claims to have seen the Snyder Cut in its entirety – and he claims that it is "ssssiiicccckkkkk."

"Well let’s be honest if it wasn’t for this man we wouldn’t have Aquaman I love u Zachary synder. Mahalo for showing me the synder cut. Here is a token of my appreciation. Leica Q2 for inspiring me as an artist through and through @leicacamerausa I wish I was a better actor but I can’t lie. The Snyder cut is ssssiiicccckkkkkk," Momoa says in the caption included alongside the heartwarming video. Moreover, as a way of perhaps pouring salt on the wounds of fans who're dying to get their hands on the elusive cut, Momoa included the hastag #luckymesucksforu in his post.

As you're likely to know, AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON director Joss Whedon re-shot portions of Zack Snyder's version of JUSTICE LEAGUE for Warner Bros. Upon the film's release – and subsequent negative reviews from fans – those who were looking forward to Snyder's version demanded that the studio release his take on the supergroup adventure. To this day, there are no plans to release Snyder's version of the film. In fact, for a time, no one was even sure if the Snyder Cut existed at all. However, with Momoa now claiming to have seen the film in its entirety, I'm sure that the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut call to arms is about to get obnoxious all over again. Thanks, Jason. I still love you, but thanks a lot.
