Jason not Supernatural

Update: According to STYD, even though they don’t have the rights to the Jason Voorhees name, there will be “a character in a hockey mask. He may not legally be identified as Jason, but the “Supernatural” team hopes fans will get the drift.” Still not the same in my eyes. Thanks to Cody for the heads up.

Last month PJ told us all about how Jason Voorhees was going to be making a cameo on the CW network in the hit show SUPERNATURAL. Truthfully, I’ve never seen the show, but I was stoked to hear about this and was geared to check it out.

Well Bloody-Disgusting has shattered our hopes by reporting that this will actually not be happening. Why? The rights baby! Oh those silly rights, always holding things back. So unfortunately we won’t be seeing Jason hack up a couple CW youngsters.
