Nana Visitor (Star Trek: DS9) has apparently been cast as good ol’ Jason’s mother, Pamela Voorhees in the upcoming FRIDAY THE 13TH remake. I guess this is big news if you’re a fan of Star Trek, or of the original FRIDAY THE 13TH. But for me, merely a huge fan of hot chicks, the major draw to this flick is still Amanda Righetti.
The film, directed by Marcus Nispel, will center on a bunch of kids opening a camp for special needs children. Little do they know, though, that an unknown person is planning to pick them off one by one. Jared Padalecki (TV’s Supernatural), Derek Mears (THE HILLS HAVE EYES II) and rumor has it, Willa Ford, will all star in the film that will have people checking underneath their beds at night and wondering while they fall asleep, why the hell isn’t Amanda Righetti more famous?
