Jay is Shy

I’m a big fan of the Jay and Silent Bob flicks, so in turn, I like Jason Mewes. Lately he’s been branching away from Kevin Smith stuff though. The 10 seconds he was in FEAST was entertaining. And RSVP wasn’t half bad. He also stars in THE TRIPPER. Seems like he’s branching off into our backyard, huh?

Now the news rolling in is that Mewes will be starring in TWICE SHY. Ready for this…. another vampire flick! Man Hollywood has a thing for vampires all of a sudden. According to Fangoria, TWICE SHY is about a guy who falls under the spell of a beautiful vampiress from the 1800s after her coffin is opened in a modern city. Now contrary to the plot and the title, this film has nothing to do with the Jim Carrey comdey ONCE BITTEN. With a title like that though, I don’t see how it’s not related to ONCE BITTEN.

Now I’m not positive if this falls under horror or comedy/horror, but everything is pointing towards horror thus far. Variety only labels this as a ‘vampire fantasy.’ Peace Arch Entertainment has picked up rights to the film. We’ll keep you updated with any news we hear on TWICE SHY.
