It’s no secret that AITH is one of the top destinations for horror fans on the net, right? Now if you’re a regular over in these parts then you should also be aware that we sometimes divert from the norm and like to hit up an action flick or two now and again. For an action flick to grace our pages though it’s got to be something pretty big… and that’s exactly where UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: A NEW DIMENSION falls!
Actually any flick with Jean-Claude Van Damme would have a place on the AITH pages but when you have an action flick that stars Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Scott Adkins and Michael Jai White… well that’s something dreams are made of. So what news could I be bringing you today regarding the latest UNIVERSAL SOLDIER? How about some Van Damme behind the scenes shots from the set? Would that be something you might be interested in?
Of course it is! Now I’ve gone and tossed the trio of behind the scenes set shots up above and below, which are coming at us from Van Damme’s official Facebook page. You may notice that the ‘Muscles from Brussels’ refuses to smile in these shots. Not sure if he’s just trying to strike a menacing pose or if he just isn’t a happy dude. Now we’re still in the dark in regards to what UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: A NEW DIMENSION will be about but we do know that shite started filming back at the beginning of May. We also know it’s coming from director John Hyams and along with the action stars named above it also stars Rus Blackwell, Mariah Bonner (below), Beau Brasso, David Jensen, James DuMont, Audrey P. Scott, Glen Warner, Robert Douthat, Juli Erickson, Kristopher Van Varenberg and Adam Sibley.
