Jennifer Lawrence won’t have her body painted for X-Men: Days of Future Past

This wouldn’t be much a story if it didn’t involve Jennifer Lawrence‘s naked body, I’ll admit. But it does, and since we can’t get enough of J-Law right now (just as she can’t get enough of that ganja!), let’s all think about the recent Oscar winner’s nude form and how it will be presented to us in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.

During Lawrence’s first stint in the X-MEN universe as slinky mutant Mystique, the actress had her body painted from head to toe for upwards of seven hours, a process that was equal parts painful and stunningly boring. For the sequel, however, Lawrence won’t have to endure the same nonsense.

Lawrence told E!:

“I’m so excited because I’m going to wear a body suit… It will be from neck down so it will cut out time and the blisters.”

Lawrence also revealed to E! that she hasn’t even read the screenplay for the new X-MEN yet, stating that she’s simply not had the time. Must have been all those award shows and HUNGER GAMES.

I haven’t read the script yet. I haven’t had 30 minutes. They literally gave me the script and I was like, ‘I can’t read this until Monday.'”

She had better crack it, because X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST begins production very shortly, and opens in July of 2014.
