With the trailer and poster for JENNIFER’S BODY making everyone goo-goo for Megan Fox, it’s only natural that a comic book based on the film will have a few of us a little too excited for Fox and her animated likeness. STYD scored the first look at the cover and a few of the pages from the upcoming JENNIFER’S BODY graphic novel, and based on the cover alone, this thing is gonna rock!
Graphic novel movie tie-ins are always a treat, but when we’re talkin’ JENNIFER’S BODY… well, then it’s no contest to the amount of awesomeness that’s going on here. You can see from the cover that not only is she sexy, but that devilish hand she’s rockin’ is just freaky!
Details on the graphic novel, scheduled to hit bookstores in August, goes like this: The movie event of the Fall is the comic book event of this Summer! Juno’s award-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody brings you Jennifer’s Body starring Megan Fox as a demonically-possessed cheerleader with a taste for killing teenage boys! In this original graphic novel that ties into the movie and expands on its universe, BLACK METAL’s Rick Spears brings you even more hellish Jennifer stories with art by HACK/SLASH’s Tim Seely, KICK DRUM COMIX’ Jim Mahfood, DMZ’s Nikki Cook, and POPGUN’s Ming Doyle.
Nice! Because I really wanted to know the origins of this movie. Actually, that’s not true. I can accept that Fox is hot and that she’s a demon… anything more than that is simply just that. More. But that’s ok, I’ll take it!
