Jerry slyly gets around no invitation in new red-band Fright Night clip

One of the things I enjoyed about the 2011 version of FRIGHT NIGHT (Peep my review HERE), is the way it plays with and flips vampire lore. For instance, in the new red-band clip below, watch the way Jerry Dandridge (Colin Farrell) slyly circumnavigates his lack of invitation into Charlie’s house. An awfully clever one, this Dandridge!

In two days – Senior Charlie Brewster finally has it all—he’s running with the popular crowd and dating the hottest girl in high school. In fact, he’s so cool he’s even dissing his best friend Ed. But trouble arrives when an intriguing stranger Jerry moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but there’s something not quite right—and everyone, including Charlie’s mom, doesn’t notice. After witnessing some very unusual activity, Charlie comes to an unmistakable conclusion: Jerry is a vampire preying on his neighborhood. Unable to convince anyone that he’s telling the truth, Charlie has to find a way to get rid of the monster himself in this Craig Gillespie-helmed revamp of the comedy-horror classic.

Anton Yelchin, David Tennant, Colin Farrell, Toni Collette, Imogen Poots, Sandra Vergara (below) and Christopher Mintz-Plasse are a few of the key players in the film.

Friday yo, you making it a FRIGHT NIGHT?
