You heard it hear first folks, the
man who played the king of the Jews will now star in a sci-fi/adventure flick
filled with aliens and vikings.
James Caviezel, Sopia Myles, Jack
Huston, Ron Perlman, and John Hurt have begun principal photography for the film
OUTLANDER.
The new sci-fi flick will revolve around a space ship that crash lands in
ancient Norway during the rein of the Vikings. The spaceship releases 2 beings,
1 being a warrior named Kainan, and the other being a blood-thirsty creature
known as the Moorwen.
The Moorwen begins to ravage the Vikings, and Kainan joins them in their battle
against the creature.
This movie is sounding pretty slick,
and for some reason reminds me of a combination between ENEMY MINE and
BEOWULF. And if
anyone else is as big of a geek as I am, this may seem slightly reminiscent of
how the whole Norse aspect was explained in the Marvel comics.
