Jim Caviezel and James Frain board the Antonio Negret thriller Transit

Former Jesus Christ Jim Caviezel (THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST) and current vampire James Frain (“True Blood”) have joined Elisabeth Rohm (“Heroes”, “Law & Order”), Harold Perrineau (“Lost”, THE MATRIX RELOADED), and Diora Baird (YOUNG PEOPLE F*CKING, THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING) for filmmaker Antonio Negret’s (SECONDS APART, TOWARDS DARKNESS) upcoming thriller entitled TRANSIT.

Per THR: “In the story line, thieves on the run from a bank robbery come across a suburban family on its way to a camping trip. When the criminals stash their stolen money in the family’s SUV at a rest stop, the road trippers, with Caviezel as the protective father, unwittingly draw the murderous band of outlaws on their trail.” Rohm will play the mother while Perrineau and the sinfully hot Baird (pictured below for your… pleasure) play members of the bank robbery crew.

TRANSIT, from writer Michael Gilvary (ACCORDING TO GRETA) and producers Courtney Solomon and Joel Silver, opens sometime next year.
