Jimmy Fallon does Peanuts parody in the style of CW’s Riverdale

RIVERDALE – the cool, sexy version of the ARCHIE comics – is a phenomenon. Merging the squeaky clean characters of Archie,
Jughead, Betty, and Veronica into a plot that involves murder, rape, and incest has struck a nerve in the popular consciousness. It was a gamble, but it has seemed to have paid off for the CW.

It has murder (with Linus instead of Jason Blossom), the unfortunate affair with a teacher (doing the classic “WOP-WOP-WOP” voice), and even having Charlie Brown make terrible music like Archie from RIVERDALE. Overall, it’s a pretty spot-on parody (when it’s not being too “wink-wink-nudge-nudge” like the joke about the actors’ age), so check it out if you’re a fan of the show in the embed above.

Meanwhile, as the midseason finale of RIVERDALE has just been released, the midseason premiere will be January 17th, 2018
