I think J.J. Abrams is going a little stir-crazy with ‘Lost’ in-between seasons right now. Not only is he tackling the mysterious 1.18.08, he’s also producing that new STAR TREK movie, and now… mysterious supernatural flick is in the works!
In a deal with Paramount, Abrams (and his Bad Robot) is producing an untitled supernatural thriller for writer/director Josh Marston (director of MARIA FULL OF GRACE). Per usual, no details are known, no plot points are given, just another bigass mystery for us to ponder for months to come.
Word around the campfire is that Marston has been trying to adapt and bring to life Jonathan Lethem novel ‘Fortress of Solitude’ for some time now, and this could be it. But of course, this is just the word (i.e., rumor), and nothing is official, so we’ll just sit tight and gnaw on the bones they give us.
